A series of exciting new products developed by Copernus have landed in thousands of retail fridge cabinets across the UK this month.
The salmon, sea bass and cod lines have been supplied to one of Copernus’ award-winning customers as part of their summer food range.
Ready in just 12-14 minutes, the quartet of Salmon Skewers feature flavour profiles consisting of everything from salt and black cracked pepper, through to soy, chilli and lime, as well as Memphis BBQ and Teriyaki.
Dean Simpson, Copernus’ managing director, says the launch will tap into the demand for healthy products in the wake of Covid-19, as well as an increased desire for easy-to-cook, chilled fish flavour combinations.
“The convenient format is ideal for busy households,” said Simpson. “Copernus is keen to inspire consumers to try new fish through adventurous flavour profiles. We are confident these high quality new products will appeal to both new and existing seafood shoppers.
“We love a challenge at Copernus, which is why we pride ourselves on providing our supply partners with completely bespoke products tailored to their individual brands.”
A trio of seabass fillets with flavoured butter pellets also launched this month consisting of rocket pesto, ginger and lime and lemon and cracked black pepper. And finally, completing the new range is a cod fillet with a garlic and herb butter.
